Corn sometimes referred to as maize, is one of the most widely used foods in the world. But while most of us know corn as a food, this cereal plant belonging to the grass family is sometimes used as livestock feed and also as biofuel among many other uses.
But you are likely to agree with me that when used as a food, corn is simply delicious! But perhaps what’s great about corn is its versatility to just about any cooking method known to man. To begin with, a boiled ear of corn makes a delightful snack. When steamed, it maintains a crispier texture that delights a lot of corn devotees.
